“The Situation” gets rejected on SportsNation. “Stop little man.”

January 8, 2010

Jersey Shore has to be one of the funnier shows out there. It’s a bunch of guidos being self-deprecating without even knowing it and one of the highlights has to be Mike “The Situation.” These guidos in their own environment is funny because of how ridiculous these people are and how they act, but when it comes to doing their thing in a different venue like Conan, Funny or Die videos and now SportsNation, they definitely know how to make me laugh. See the videos below.

Best part: Marcellus Wiley at the end of the second video. Priceless.

I’m so glad I’m able to blog about Jersey Shore here at The Nine Commandments. Tell me what you think in the comments section.

CHAMP CHAMP! Scoops Callahan asks the questions.

January 6, 2010

I was going to try to write this blog post in 1920’s vernacular, the same kind Scoops Callahan (Tom Gribble) uses in this hilarious video, but it’s way too hard. I’m not hip to the oldies (oxymoron?) so I couldn’t. Yeah, sorry.

Tom Gribble of 1310AM The Ticket’s BaD Radio Show asks the hard questions in this hilarious video, interviewing everyone from Tom Brady to Vince Young. VY didn’t understand the question, which is understandable but I also highly doubt he ever understands actual questions fro reporters.

Mack Brown on the other hand understands the question perfectly and answers it. Yeah, dude is old.

The story of Doc Ellis and the LSD no hitter.

November 12, 2009

Hey, remember Doc Ellis? Of course you don’t, he wasn’t a particularly memorable pitcher although he does have a place in baseball history. Ellis pitched a no hitter for the Pirates on a day he didn’t even think he was supposed to play. Why? Because he took some LSD.

Ellis died last December at the age of 63 and gave a great account of the events leading up to the game. Well done video and absolutely hilarious.

Luckily, he didn’t end up in an RV bathroom for three days. (Anybody?)

October 26, 2009

Must be a sign of the times with so many people taking shots at Daniel Snyder. Now the DC Lottery is getting in on the Burgundy Revolution fun with this awesome commercial.

This commercial should begin airing next week according to The Big Lead.

Phillies fans give you two funnies for the price of one.

October 22, 2009

So the Phillies completed their NLCS series over the Dodgers, 4-1 last night and boy are they excited. Not only did the fans boo Ernie Johnson during the trophy presentation, they also gave the rest of the country more reasons to laugh at the dump that is Philadelphia.

See video above: While celebrating, the fine young lady being interviewed drops the F- bomb on live TV AND with the power of split-screen, we learned why it’s not smart to celebrate your teams win by jumping on a taxi. That reason? Taxi drivers (or any driver for that matter) don’t want a bunch of dumb drunks jumping on their car. Solution? Drive away with said dumb drunks on top of the car. Effect: hilariousness for all.

Keep it classy, Philadelphia.

Do you like indoor football? Do you like shit blowing up? If you said yes, this is the post for you.

October 15, 2009

I don’t think there’s anything like this indoor football intro video for Fairbanks Grizzlies of Alaska. Is there really anything cooler than shit blowing up and a Grizzly bear going ape-shit.

No. There isnt.

Hitler reacts to Virginia Tech beating Nebraska.

September 21, 2009

Hilarious video.

And just a side-note to this game: Why the hell did the Virginia Tech students rush the field? You were ranked higher than Nebraska and favored to win the game. You can’t just rush the field whenever you want. So answer in the comments, I know VaTech students read this blog.

Preseason hockey. Kinda awesome.

September 18, 2009

Have fun with this preseason hockey hit courtesy of Dion Phaneuf on Kyle Okposo that starts a fight between Phaneuf and Pascal Morency. Can’t wait for hockey.

Charles Barkley enjoys Patron.

September 14, 2009

Big ups to Colin C for finding this great clip of Sir Charles enjoying a peaceful evening at the club, chugging Patron like it’s nobody’s business. Just by the date on the clip, we know this isn’t that infamous night when Barkley was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving as fast as he could to get his D wet.

But it’s still a good clip of what these athletes can do off the court. They’re just like us except they can do everything at least 10 times better, including chugging ridiculous amounts of Blackoutforninedaysandregreteverydecision juice.

I heart you, Justin Gage.
